Abuse Policy

Help us respond to misuse.

Clear, specific reports help us investigate suspected abuse quickly and fairly while protecting legitimate users.

What to report

Report activity that appears to involve ApunkaMail and may violate our Acceptable Use Policy, including phishing, spam, malware, impersonation, fraud, threats, illegal content, or attempts to compromise accounts and systems.

ApunkaMail is still in development. If a message merely claims to come from an ApunkaMail mailbox, include full technical headers so we can determine whether our systems or identity were actually involved.

What to include

  • A concise description of the suspected abuse
  • Relevant URLs, account identifiers, dates, and timestamps
  • Complete email headers for suspicious messages
  • Screenshots or evidence that do not expose unnecessary personal data
  • Your contact details if you would like a response

Send reports to abuse@apunkamail.com. Security vulnerabilities should instead go to security@apunkamail.com.

What happens after a report

We assess credible reports, may request more information, and take proportionate action where appropriate. Actions can include content or access restrictions, evidence preservation, provider notification, or referral to relevant authorities.

Privacy, legal restrictions, and investigation integrity may prevent us from sharing every detail or outcome.

Urgent threats and emergencies

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Abuse reporting is not an emergency-response channel.

Good-faith reports

Submit accurate reports without threats, retaliation, or attempts to obtain unrelated information. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves violate our policies.
