Our current use of cookies
ApunkaMail does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and improve the site. Google Analytics may set or read analytics identifiers and process technical information about your visit.
Theme preference and local storage
When you choose light or dark mode, the website saves a value named apunkamail-theme in your browser’s local storage. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is a similar browser technology.
This value contains only your selected display preference. It is not sent with normal web requests, does not identify you, and remains on your device until you clear site data or remove it through your browser settings.
Essential website technology
Our hosting, security, or network providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver pages, protect forms, balance traffic, or prevent abuse. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser and device signals needed to verify that a form submission is legitimate. These technologies are used only where needed to provide or secure the service.
Form rate limiting is currently performed on the server and does not require a browser cookie. Technical events may still appear in protected server logs as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party resources and links
The website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts and loads Google Analytics. When your browser requests those font files, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser information, and referring page under its own policies.
Links to sponsor websites and social platforms take you to independent third parties. Those sites may use their own cookies after you visit them; ApunkaMail does not control their practices.
Your browser controls
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing site data for apunkamail.com will also remove the saved theme preference, after which the site will follow your device theme until you choose another mode.
Blocking essential storage or third-party resources may affect appearance or functionality, but the core public content should remain available.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce personalisation, advertising, or additional non-essential technologies, we will update this policy and provide consent controls where required before those technologies are used.
