Security

Trust starts with strong foundations.

Security is an ongoing practice. We’re designing ApunkaMail to reduce risk, protect user information, and respond responsibly when issues arise.

Our security approach

ApunkaMail is still in development, so this page describes our security direction rather than claiming unfinished capabilities. Security decisions will be reviewed as the service architecture evolves.

  • Use established, maintained technologies
  • Apply least-privilege access wherever practical
  • Protect information in transit with modern encryption
  • Monitor critical systems and investigate unusual activity
  • Keep dependencies updated and review reported vulnerabilities

Account protection

Before public launch, we intend to provide secure authentication, safe account-recovery controls, abuse monitoring, and clear notifications for important account events. Final features will be documented when available.

No service can promise absolute security. We aim to reduce risk through careful design, maintenance, monitoring, and transparent response practices.

Data safeguards

We plan to limit access to operational data, keep only what is needed, and use reputable infrastructure providers. Our Privacy Policy explains how the current website handles waitlist and enquiry information.

Report a security vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security issue affecting ApunkaMail, email security@apunkamail.com. Include the affected URL or component, steps to reproduce, potential impact, and a safe way to contact you.

Please avoid accessing other people’s data, disrupting services, or publicly disclosing an issue before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

Reporting abuse instead?
